Myanmar

We are the only shared fiber network provider of scale in Myanmar with nationwide backbone of 27,480 route km and metro duct network of 2,209 route km in length.

On April 9, 2012, HyalRoute signed a cooperation agreement with Myanmar Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).

On May 22, 2012, Myanmar Fiber Optic Communication Network Co., Ltd. (MFOCN) was formally established in Yangon, Myanmar.

On November 8, 2012, the first phase of the Myanmar fiber optic transmission network project was officially started.

On December 19, 2013, MFOCN signed a fiber sales framework contract with Ooredoo.

On December 19, 2013, MFOCN signed a fiber sales framework contract with Telenor.

On March 24, 2014, MFOCN obtained an investment license from MIC.

December 12, 2014 MFOCN was granted a MIC approval to increase investment quota.

On February 3, 2015, MFOCN officially obtained the operating license, and the Myanmar regulatory agency issued a passive communication infrastructure and service license (NFS(C)) for MFOCN.

On June 12, 2015, MFOCN obtained the MIC update tower business license.

On July 23, 2015, the MPT-KSGM contract was signed.

On September 2017, MFOCN and Mytel signed a contract for the sale of optical cables.

On May 2018, MFOCN received a letter of thanks from Telenor.


Cambodia

We are the only shared fiber network provider of scale in Cambodia with nationwide backbone of 21,809 route km and metro duct network of 1,532 route km in length. We are a member of the international consortium that collectively owns and operates the AAE-1 network with an approximately 25,000 route km international submarine cable, offering direct access to the AAE-1 network through our landing station in Sihanoukville, Cambodia.

On April 28, 2006 , CFOCN was established.

On December 11, 2007,CFOCN obtained the land optic cable investment and operation license issued by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia. The license period is 35 years. In the future, the application may be extended one year before the expiration of the license.

On September 2008, signed a fiber lease framework contract with Wicam.

On March 2009, signed a fiber sales framework contract with Telcotech Company Limited.

On December 2009, signed the fiber sales framework contract with S.I Group.

On August 2013, signed acontract for the sale of optical cable with Cambodia Singmeng Telemedia Co., Ltd.

On July 31, 2015, CFOCN obtained the submarine cable construction and international communication operation license issued by the Cambodian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. The license period is 30 years.

On April 6, 2016 ,CFOCN obtained the iron tower construction and operation license issued by the Cambodian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority for a period of 30 years.

On December 7, 2016 ,CFOCN obtained the Cambodian Development Committee issued a permanent registration license for the “Overhead Optical Cable Downland Project” and identified the project as a qualified investment project.
